As a Community Interest Company (CIC) we are not-for-profit and use any profits from the business for the benefit of the community in Hexham and surrounding areas. Not only through our core social purpose of engaging our young participants in cycling to enhance their mental and physical health and employability, but also by boosting the uptake of cycling through outreach work in the local community such as free group rides and skills sessions as well as pop-up bike repair days

In order to run these activities, we are reliant on the kindness of our volunteers and donors. There are many ways that you can support us. For example, through your time as a volunteer at The Link. Or by donating any unwanted bikes, cycle clothing or accessories and components for us to refurbish and sell.

Cycling Minds is using a solution called TimeCounts to manage it’s volunteer team. If you would like to apply to be a volunteer with us, you can sign up using the button below. You will first need to create a TimeCounts account. You can register your interest in volunteering through our Volunteer Hub.

If you just want to make a monetary donation instead of bikes or time, it would still be very much appreciated. You can drop your spare change into The Link

We are also registered with Easyfundraising which turns your everyday online shopping into free donations. Just sign up with easyfundraising and select Cycling Minds as your chosen cause and then shop as normal. Retailers will then make a small donation on your behalf to Cycling Minds and to say thank you to you for shopping with them.
